I am wondering if Republic of Korea could be out of Japan Empire’s colonization without above 2 incidents. Koreans aware of 15th of Aug, 1945 as an Independent day of Korea, but it is just a meaning from perspective of edited-history by Korean government, but the truth, it was just a day when Japan Empire surrendered to United States of America from Pacific war in WW2. However, it is funny, actually it is rather pathetic than just funny, to watch Korean government mention it as ‘Korea’s Independence by their own’

Is it possible to describe objective history? For example, statistics data is coming out from editing of statistician of numeral data of specific phenomenon. It might be ideal if this editing process can include pure phenomenon itself in date, but in actual, there must be ‘finality’ which comes in advance of interpret of phenomenon. Therefore, statistics data is nothing more than edited data under statistician’s finality, so in other words, it is statistics date with statistician’s subjective message. I think describing history is as same as this.

If you are educated in Korea, there are names of people who we treat as patriotic martyr. However, if we look at is in different perspective, they are nothing but terrorists. For example, if you think about an incident that Mr. Jung-geun Ahn killed Ito Hirobumi at Harbin station, one specific Korean might call Mr. Ahn as ‘Patriotic martyr’, but one specific Japanese might call Mr. Ahn as ‘Murderer’. If we think of this in objective way, is Mr. Ahn a ‘Patriotic martyr’, or ‘Murder’?

Objective answer is in nowhere. Therefore, distortion of history is also in nowhere. If someone think same as me would be right, and someone think different with me would be wrong. That is the history. Whether we call an island as ‘Dok-do’ or ‘Takeshima’, it is just different interpret, but there is no historical distortion in this phenomenon.

An issue which I would like to make as problem is the fact that I realized this after many years of formal education. And there must be millions of people without awareness of it after many years of formal education. The loophole of historic education is that educatee cannot choose the nation, and brain-washed from one way. It is like writing a history in brain as the government of our nations want. It is not a concern for them whether we prefer our nation’s government, or their historical perspective is preferred. And this is not a phenomenon which only appear in historical education.
